Pink as pink makeup and girls love when it matches their makeup, pink accessories and their pink clothes.

I've had my space grey iPhone 6 Plus for a year and I still couldn't tell anyone what the hell color it's really supposed to be. Sometimes it really does look gold for some odd reason. Sometimes it's a silver with a faint gray haze over it. :( Sometimes it looks so silver I could mistake it for a silver iPhone if not for the black bezel. I'm so freaking sick of this non-color and wish it were a bold dark color like the new Apple watch which it should match but doesn't.

Sounds like Apple has made another color that doesn't know what color it's supposed to be and once again, I've ordered it. I'm a glutton for punishment. Rose Gold is more syllables than I care to bother with so I'm just going to call it pink and be done with it. Even if it looks orange. Or salmon. Whatever. o_O

can someone please take a pic of the back of the rose gold iphone, OUTDOOR? with direct sunlight and in the shade.
I'd like to see this.

stuck at work, can't go to the store to check it out myself. :D

I love it; I have in a really minimal dark blue case and the contrast is beautiful. I'm actually shopping for a clear case now because the color's so much richer than I expected it to be.

No one said it wasn't pink. It's just not the light bubblegum pink that some thought it might be (like me).

Actually at least one poster here insists its not pink That's ok, the reality distortion field is a thing.

There are gradation of colors; this it is not a binary world.
You'd probably insist that tens of thousands of colors are "just blue" despite having all different names and being quite far apart on the color wheel.
The fact you keep insisting makes me think that you have as much an "issue" as you insist the poster has...

I think it's one of the pinks in the background

My significant other has rose gold jewelry, and I've seen a lot of rose gold stuff. The new rose gold iPhone is pink. It's not baby pink or neon pink, but it's certifiably pink. So those who want to pretend like their rose gold iPhones aren't pink - you're not fooling anyone! :)

Went to the AT&T store and checked out the rose gold. It's not as pink as I thought (which most people are reporting). I'm a guy who's straight and I like it! Might swap my space grey 6s plus for the rose gold!

*** I took these off my 6 plus. I tried to capture every angle I could without having he alarm go off*** and yes, it really depends how and where the light is shinning to and from. Hope this helped!

Knowing what I was potentially ordering because I don't care what others think and it looks good, I'd say the back is more pink than copper but the Touch ID ring is definitely more copper.

It's pink, but not bright or hot pink. The lighting definitely changes the tone as well.

I like it more than I thought I would so I'm keeping it.

Don't mean to offend anyone, it's just my opinion, but holy crap I was surprised just how fugly the rose gold was in person. I'm surprised Apple truly let that color fly. It's kind of pink with a tinge of magenta to it, bleh. I've always felt the white fronts were very jarring and ugly as well, even on the gold and silver models, but they really stand out on the rose gold models.

I'm still very surprised they haven't released a darker grey or even black for the black face models. I can only assume they scratch too much, I think the ip5 had issues with that. What a shame, I bet a dark back would sell like hotcakes. Instead they release this hot pink/magenta mess.

How come some people are so hell-bent on telling others what they see is not really what they're seeing?

I really like the color....it looks different colors depending on the lighting.
Agreed. I think that it is cool that the space gray and rose gold, etc. are unique, and look different to many people at many angles, and in different lighting.
Silver for me nonetheless ;-)
