If it's this limited, then clearly it needs a lot more work. But using AR to see what your kitchen could look like with different designs is actually a cool and useful idea, assuming what you can see is in the ballpark of how it would look in real life. Hopefully they build this.

I haven't seen the app...

But I suspect you would be able to walk through the kitchen, look up/down/left/right, open cabinet/oven/refrigerator doors, quickly change cabinet styes and layouts from a library of available cabinets, choose flooring materials (tile/vinyl/etc. and change them), view and change granite/quartz counter/island tops, try different window options and treatments, try different choices for cooktop/oven/refrigerator/sinks/faucets, try different colors of wall/ceiling paint, chose/change kitchen lighting options, view and choose different tile backsplash options, etc, etc.

And most importantly, it would look and feel like you're really in and walking through the kitchen - as if you were really there.

The best option is disinfection by ultraviolet light which will kill both viruses and bacteria. A decent UV disinfection cabinet that would handle an AVP would probably cost a couple hundred dollars.

One can also use peroxide or alcohol based wipes. But that's messy and don't think would inspire confidence in customers.

So... with respect to my post up above regarding how Lowe's could use an AVP to help customers design kitchens... I see you responded with a laughing emoji.

What do you find so amusing about that? Or is that just a knee-jerk reaction you use when you don't like someone's post?

Tell me you have only rented without telling me you have only rented. Planners Apps (Ikea offers some pretty good ones) can let you see the space exactly as it will be, but this would be much more elvated than doing in on your computer or tablet.
Wrong. I have owned several properties since 2005, the most recent being new home construction that I closed on in February of 2021. So, I know a thing or two about kitchen customizations.

You're assertions are also flawed here. Maybe the AVP would make creating a new kitchen easier for you, but not everyone will feel the same. While you make a good use case to project the benefit of AVP in this scenario, the truth is that many people won't wear that goofy contraption on their head as currently designed, no matter how much more it may add to the user experience.
