Looks good, something different. I'd rock it. Better than Half the tpu, or plastic junk for sale that doesn't even let you take proper pics and scratches your phone.

Umm yeah, way to totally destroy the beautiful industrial design that Apple lavished on the iPhone 4. 95 bucks? 95 bucks? He's gotta be kidding.

While it is kinda ugly, for a custom-made all-metal case, $95 isn't all that bad.

I'm with you Klee. I think this thing looks awesome! I can't afford to drop $95, but if I could; this case would be mine!

Look forward to your review.

All that metal surrounding the phone can only make the antenna issue worse.

I really am not crapping out on a review and pics!!!!!

I am just about finished writing an in-depth review and will post it toward the end of the week.

I absolutely love the case.

C'mon, hurry it up a bit. I'm gettin' older by the day!!!!

Sorry all for the long hiatus! No excuse - just maybe a bit lazy.

I love this case. It is a perfect addition to my iPhone 4. I have not had any reception issues at all. Depending on my location I still get 2 to 4 bars. GPS lock on has not changed. The stainless steel does not come in contact with the antenna at all. The case does add a bit of weight but that is not a problem for me.

Ryan has a quality case here. The workmanship is fine. Every piece fits together perfectly and it encases the iPhone like a glove. Only thing I have changed is that I don't use the rubber band on the cover. I think it looks classier without it and the cover stays closed.

Well worth the money! And it certainly is a conversational piece!!!!!!!

quick question :
is the lid/top cover removable or detached from the rest of the case?
thanks

You could remove the cover from the case by taking out the hinge pins.

I must admit I wish the cover folded back 360 degrees and not just 180.

Not Fugly At All - Totally Unique!!!!!

No damage to the iPhone after 3 weeks. Ryan puts pieces of green felt on the inside of the case. The iPhone slips in and the glass does not rub against the stainless steel. I added a couple more pieces from the square he provides so there is a tighter fit. You can also put in the extra delrin post at the left-hand top to secure your iPhone in the case.

I find it weirdly cool. Too awkward for me to use, but it appeals to me for some reason.
