960MB... i bought the 5GB plan for the 1st month as I know the novelty of having my 1st iPad will still be hot for me. but i will bring it down to the 2GB plan next month.

How did you manage to "spread" the unlimited plan to two iPads? I transferred mine from iPad 1 to the new iPad and then signed up for a separate plan for the first iPad. I'm going to be very pissed if I could have kept both and paid the same  Or at least kept unlimited on both.

I haven't the slightest idea why it's still working on both iPads, and I'm hardly inclined to call and complain about it. I will see whether that's still the case when the billing cycle rolls around in about three weeks.

i'm planning to give the gen 1 iPad to the son of a close friend but will be keeping the SIM chip (as my friends are in Japan and will have no use for the chip there).

So on Verizon's end they think you have 2 phones? Aren't you required to have a voice plan with a smartphone? You can't just be paying for data plus the $9.99 for a second line and no voice plan.

I'm on a family plan, so I'm paying voice for my iPhone and iPad.

350 MB on Verizon 1 GB plan. That was all mostly from one sitting browsing the web to test LTE out.

same here! .. it's crazy how fast data gets used... now i'm considering switching to at&t bc they offer 1 more gb of data for $30..

what are your speeds like? i'm in downtown atlanta and i'm only getting 12-14 DL and 10-15 UL on LTE..

Here's mine.

549MB on a 5GB plan since Friday. I travel quite a bit but haven't gone anywhere except home and work since Friday, and to the park on Saturday. I would say maybe 50% of that data I have used has been speed tests :)

I was thinking about this as well. I started with 1GB and then I got rid of Hotspot since I was still under 30 days and VZW has free tethering with the iPad plans. I upgraded to the 5GB for next month or when I only have 25MB left since it will now be my hotspot. The difference of the 2GB to 5GB is really odd, considering it's $20 difference. If it was 3GB, it would make more sense. Oh well, free hotspot makes up for it and the more reliable/faster speed (so far).

My Usage counter vs my Verizon Status is totally off

VZW Status says: 67mb used/ 957mb left

iOS Usage counter says: Sent 15.7mb, Received 76.5

Weird... but I haven't been going nuts like the rest of you... keeping my LTE off unless I'm surfing to save battery and turning cell data completely off when at home around Wifi.

Also relegated iCloud document backups to Wifi Only.

200MB used of 3GB after three days. I am usually on wifi but the LTE screams when I use it.

Started Monitoring on the 20th

I am using the DataUsage Pro App. I have used 1,301 MB on Cellular and 23,171 MB on WiFi over the past 9 days (according to this application, from the 20th when I installed it).

Using General, Usage, Cellular Usage the results from the 16th are: 119MB sent, 2.4GB received.

73.6MB Sent
1.6GB Received

Since launch day.

Been on"4G" most of the time on AT&T unlimited (LTE) plan. Heavy usage, some iTunes connect, lots of mail & browsing. No video except at home where wifi is available.

Just checked this morning and 10 days in I've used 139mb. I picked up the 3gb plan because I figured with LTE I'd be using far more than the old 250mb plan I had in the past.

I have wifi at home, but not at work, so the majority of my bandwidth is just for small things - Evernote, Dropbox, emails, etc. I'll probably keep the 3gb plan though because I'll go over the 250mb plan with LTE, I'm sure. When I had 3G, I was bumping the 250mb limit every month.

Been using it sparingly the past ten days just to see what my "normal usage" numbers would be with LTE. Now that I've got gb's to burn, I may kick it up a notch, do more OTA updates, Pandora, etc. :)

I have used 1.8 Gb from a 3 Gb plan in 5 days. Mostly due to video streaming, especially since I guess it detects a higher download speed it'll pick the HQ rate video to stream. Wish I had an unlimited plan.

I've had it since day 1. After using 1gb the first weekend (was on a trip away from wifi) I'm now at 1.3gb consumed with 17 days left in my cycle.

Little under 200mb used. Have a bit over 800mb of my 1gb left. Been using it sparingly and shutting it off at home.

Since March 20th on AT&T:

306mb used
1742mb left

I'm mainly on WiFi though occassionally I'll tether from my TMo phone if I want to download a movie and I'm away from home.

Do I win a prize? :D So far, I've just used it to ensure I could login to work using the iPad as a hot spot.

I wish AT&T had some kind of happy medium like Verizon's 1gb. I use more than 250mb but way way less than 3gb. I probably should have gone Verizon.
