Still nothing here.... WHY DOES TIM COOK HATE THE ENGLISH PEOPLE!

WE GAVE YOU POTATOES GOD DAMN IT!!!!

oh wait. that wasn't us either.

I ordered an iPad with Retina display Wi-Fi + Cellular for AT&T 64GB - Black just yesterday (11/08/2012) and Apple is showing that it will delivered on Friday, November 23.

Only potential problem for me is that it's being delivered to my office and we are closed that day. Either way, it's a Christmas gift - can't open it until then.

Just called 1-800-MY-APPLE and spoke to a woman who changed my shipping to next day without hesitation. No questions asked... Delivery date is now November 16th.

You should definitely open it and at least check there are no problems, as by Christmas you may have difficulty returning it (past the return date).

I just called and they said they couldn't change it. I had to cancel as I'm out of town on the delivery date.

I tried calling three times to change the shipping method to overnight. On the third call, the lady said they can't because it's already 2-3 day shipping. Changing it to overnight would cancel the order.

I assure you, you still can. I tried less than an hour ago.

Also wasn't able to change mine... Is it possible that some of ours are shipping from different locations (i.e., some coming from stateside and others from China)?

Status changed in last hour to "Preparing to Ship"

Just happened to notice this change. Mine is a 64G AT&T Black model iPad 4. I still think that these may hit by next Friday, Nov 16th. Could be wrong, but if the shipping information shows up this weekend, then I would imagine they are being shipped from China. As with my past experience, the 16th is doable for shipping from China.

Agreed. I think we'll receive them on the 16th. Apple is not known to receive a product in stores before the pre-orders go out and the launch for the 16th makes sense considering they said the LTE models would ship two weeks later. And with all the various shipping dates everyone has, I think maybe they just have something wrong in their system.

My Ipad 4 LTE Verizon seems to be shipping now. Apple charged my card tonight :)

Apple has a specific holiday return policy.
Items purchased at an Apple Retail Store between October 27, 2012, and December 25, 2012, may be returned with an original receipt or Gift Receipt through January 7, 2013. If the item is returned in the original box, with the original packaging, we will exchange it or offer you an Apple Gift Card. Refunds will be granted through January 7, 2013 only when an original purchase receipt is provided and will be based solely on the original method of payment.

This holiday return policy does not apply to iPhone or wireless service contracts. All other Apple Retail Store purchase policies apply and your statutory rights are not affected.

Just ordered an iPad 4 ATT 64GB and it says delivers on November 29th. Guess I'm a little past the batch of first shipments. Oh well, looking forward to finally moving on past an original iPad that crashes all the time.

i called up, offered to pay the extra $12, and they moved my shipping to next day with delivery on Nov 16 at no cost as a goodwill gesture.
then today, it went back to Nov 21 but still says next day delivery.

i'm really confused at this point

I ordered a second LTE mini as a present for someone (my first was ordered when it first became available), and at least for me I wasn't able last Thursday to select anything other than standard shipping.

So, while it may be that people are getting upgraded an they may get it before me (as both of mine say 21st delivery--like many others, I won't be in town but at least it goes to my business), it also may be that there is no such thing as overnight right now given where they are coming from. (I tried calling, just once, and they said they couldn't upgrade to overnight, I offered to pay.)

At least for me, if I go to the USA Apple online store, and try to buy another one, it won't let me (again) select anything other than standard.

Edit: My bad. This is a 4 thread.

My experience with Apple shipping from China is the fastest delivery I have ever gotten was four days. It always leaves China for Hong Kong. From Honk Kong to Aslaska. There it has to clear customs. Next stop depends on where the final destination is. Mine goes to Tennessee then to my location on the east coast for delivery. Based upon that schedule they will need to leave China Sunday night or no later than Monday for a delivery on the 16th. If they offer them in the stores the 16th and don't deliver early order until the following week I foresee a lot of people grabbing one at the store and comparing it to the other one when it arrives. This will create a lot returns and a bad business decision. I just don't see this happening but I never thought my iPad 3 would be upgraded so quickly.

I sometimes wonder who is in charge. Fanboys excluded you can't keep stepping on your customers and not expect a backlash.
