Mine said preparing to ship starting late Friday or early Saturday. I ordered the 64gb black for Verizon. I'm hoping they ship tomorrow. Verizon Wireless says they will ship by 11/13 (Tuesday) on their website so I believe Apple will ship either earlier or at least the same day

Thats great. Think it will all be that way. Apple is probably well aware that the following week is a big travel week.
i just called up and was told that factory production is slightly delayed and Apple pushed it back to Nov 21 as a precaution. he said it's almost definite that it will come earier in the week than Wed Nov 21. he said that Apple didn't want to make promises and have to deal with the fallout from that
i asked him about Nov 16 delivery - he said not likely, but the 19th and 20th are near definite

The description of the one on the Verizon website is for the third generation, A5X chip.
Could just be they haven't updated the description.
Yeah I noticed that too but its at full price....most 3rd gens are being discounted by 50$ now and why would it say available to ship on 11/13 if it was the older gen? I think they just forgot to update the info....hopefully

i literally pre-ordered within hours of when pre-orders went live. mine still says "preparing for shipment" with next day shipping but it won't deliver until Nov 21.

About 30 seconds after preorders went live. But I still bet your status gets updated to deliver on the 16th, just give it time.

i just got a little riled up with everyone reporting shipping notifications and i haven't gotten anything
I order 2 LTE mini's at 3am ET on the pre-order day and my order shows 5 day shipping with delivery on 11/21 which is ridiculous.
I called, and they refuse to expedite the shipping, but did offer me 2 free smart covers to remedy things. Can't complain about that I guess!

I apologize if this has been asked before... This is going to be my first cellular iPad, so I was wondering based on past experiences, or anything else, if anyone had an idea when Best Buy may get it? I have a WiFi one, but planning on exchanging it for LTE when available.

I ordered an AT&T 64 GB black iPad 4 on 10/26 11 AM. I got 2-3 day shipping by calling Apple and it was scheduled for the 21st. Now it's the 20th. I think if would have been here on the 16th if I didn't call. Others had 23rd and now have 16th.
