Has anyone (I don't want to wish it on anyone...) dropped a phone with one of these on? If it hit on the corner, how did it hold up?

I don't have the wraps on yet (still waiting on the phone, damn you, Fido!!!), but I can't see how some vinyl would offer any drop protection.
Protect from scratches, sure, and possibly help with the antenna issue, if you have it. But drops? No.

Yeah I wouldn't expect drop protection. I was just wondering if, when dropped, it did hold up and offer a decent amount of scratch protection....if the whole corner of the wrap was scraped down to the antenna I'd be worried.
i don't know about the colors.. but the transparent version of the lucky band is a nightmare to get off... or rather all that sticky goo is... i put on a set but didn't like how they fit (and they don't go over the black antenna you aren't supposed to be touching.) the tape peeled off but left a TON of sticky goo that tood forever to get off using alcohol (and the whole time i was anywhere near one of the moister sensors i was a wreck!)
so just as an FYI these aren't simple/quick/easy to change out!

Coloured ones seem to be different than the clear ones they don't leave any resdie behind.

I would compare it to putting on a screen protector. If you can get them on without touching the adhesive side or getting dust on it you should get a good install but for me something always gets underneath
I don't think the wrap has anything to do with the antenna. The stainless band provdies durable system.

I meant because it leaves a residue behind. Installation is not the problem.

I really liked my decal on my iPhone 4. Then I had to remove them to send my phone to apple for replacement. The decals left a sticky residue behind when I removed them. I tried to remove to residue with water, rubbing alcohol, and windex but it didn't come off. Finally I tried a mr. clean magic eraser and the residue came off.
i didn't think of magic eraser to get the gunk off... but then i was taking mine off and keeping my phone i'm not sure i would have trusted the m.e.??? i used a LOT of elbow grease and alchohol but it took FOREVER... NOT a fan of lucky labs wrap
How long did you all leave the clear wraps on before taking them off when they left the residue? I checked mine after a few hours and they were fine.
The reason I ask is that I like the way they look and keep prints off the steel. But I don't want to have to deal with residue if I remove them in the future.
