I have my genuine lunatk taktik extreme for my iPhone 5 for a week now. Here are updated comments:
Vibe button: I can now press it with my fingernail and pressing lightly is enough. Effort is no different with manipulating the naked silencer switch. I have been playing a lot with it and it has not scratched the bezel. I am now happy with it.
Ballistic bezel: I have not scratched any part of the bezel to date. I have even pressed my fingernail on some parts but left no mark at all. I think the Ebay "replicas" are either made of aluminium or non-ballistic bezel and can nick easily.
Rainbow on the screen: on my first install, I slightly over-tightened my screws an a rainbow appeared but only on a black background and when you look at it sideways. After loosening the screws to very slightly less than finger-tight on the left and right middle screws, the rainbow disappeared but can occasionally come back but only a small round blob. However, if I look at it sideways to the point that you could almost not see the screen, there is a rainbow. Bottom-line: the rainbow even after my initial install did not bother me.
Using a screen protector: somebody's mentioned using a screen protector. You are not supposed to do that as the gorilla glass is the screen protector.
Glue: the gorilla glass is glued to the front bezel and you can see it from the inside of the front bezel. It is Not blocking the camera or is visible when I am using your iPhone 5.
Taktik vs More-Thing Armor: I have the Armor and was using it for a month. The Armor is way more handsome, light, and thin than the lunatik taktik. However, I had problems putting the screen protector. I had wasted 5 and still not acceptable to me. A speck of dust goes in somehow. It has been described as shock-resistant, definitely not waterproof. I will not attempt to do the lunatik "throw" test though because the back is aluminium and the top bezel is hard plastic and will most likely break and scratch. After a month's normal use I have not scratched it. Also it is quite smooth, still too thin to hold comfortably, and therefore slippery when holding it, which bothers me. I also like the lanyard hole in the lunatik, which guarantees that I do not lose my phone when playing golf. Bottom-line: I will use the taktik if I am doing something where the possibility of dropping it is high. If I want to look cool, I will use the MoreThing Armor.
I hope this helps.
