Ive seen a lot of your comments and there was nothing you posted that was derogatory or harmful in any way, mostly you just posted honest reviews from what I read.

Sad to say, it seems you are right. I had high hopes for the Taktik.

The taktik case is still a good design, but you guys should check out the aluminum knockoff version. I got one and I love it. Its strong its half the price of the real lunatik, it doesn't break and the customer support from the dude I got it from is par excellence. Plus the shipping cost me $2. I didn't want to rain on anyone's parade by pushing it earlier but from all the problems I'm reading about it seems lunatik isn't too concerned about pleasing their customers. So save yourself some money and get a stronger case. best part is shipping is like $2. Just dont get the plastic knockoff one as it suffers from the same problem of the screw bosses breaking that the real taktik suffers from. Im trying to get a video review up but im not really that great with video editing and my cameras are all crappy so its slow going. Will post the link on the other thread dealing with the replica taktiks though.

Though the case looks good, the response you got just turned me off from buying one now, and will go with another manufacture. Who ever wrote that Facebook reply to you should be smacked around a bit to get his/her diplomatic common sense back when talking to paying customers. Paying customers are the ones that keep them in business.

It does have that cold feel like aluminum the same as the iphone itself feels. You can tell its not a white metal or such as it feels very conductive temperature wise. I cant say definitively it is aluminum without running a chemical analysis but i would say it definitly has a high percentage of aluminum in it by the feel, if not entirely aluminum. The reason I worded it the way i did in the video is I didnt want to make definitive statements that couldnt be 100% verified. It is however very strong and more than adequate for the needs of this case. It is non-magnetic.

Had two Survivor's and they are the crappiest cases of them all. The inside plastic shell has three sharp ridges that hold the phone into the plastic and these will scratch the piss out of your black iPhone 5.

I might be just lucky, spent with it almost a month in a severe alcoholic trip in Thailand, but I cannot find any scratches on my iPhone because of Survivor..
Can ya pls point me to a pics/thread about this issue, I searched but cannot find such reports.

I believe I made a thread about the Survivor cases a long time ago when they first came out. Run your finger along the inside edge of the bottom shell and you will feel these 3 sharp tabs. These tabs will scratch your phone to death.
I had the all black and the neon orange one.
I've sent them 4 emails and each has been replied to. In addition, I've called them 2x and got to speak to someone the second attempt. I just think they are completely overwhelmed and didn't appropriately staff up for the demand. Just posting my experience.

Has anyone used the new Spigen tr glass protector with a Lunatik Strike case? Looking between the Extreme and Strike.
i wouldn't recommend any glass sp with the strike. it puts too much pressure in the corners. at first it only showed cloudy spots where the adhesive was pressed in excess, but it ended up cracking my bodyguardz pure.
aside from that though i'd recommend the strike. the matte finish does mark up fairly easily as mentioned already, but my complaints stop there. i'm happy with it and just glad i don't have to deal with their customer support based on some of the stuff i've read in this thread.
After a relentless assault on Lunatik's Facebook and Twitter, I started getting emails. I offered two choices, give me a case that wasn't as prone to scratching and without the rainbow effects or a $75 refund. They opted for the refund. I was disappointed they couldn't deliver a good product, but for this price I now will try to mod it to eliminate some issues.
