I guess all we can say right now is POSSIBLY… I think the problem with these chips in a phone would be thermal management for probably not really that much needed gain. The A16 or whatever it will be called should probably be solid.

I was more concerned about Intel i5 v M1 Pro.
It’s been 10 years. I suspect I might notice a slight difference for the better.
For the worse, however, is Apple’s inexplicable deletion of the external battery indicator that the 2012 so very usefully had. And why no Kensington lock point any more either?
