Im surprised you didn't know it, goto apple's get a mac page, there is one page specially for "virus", it tells you the data source in fine print. follow the information and goto source's website, do a simply registration, and you can download the report and read for yourself.

hummm, let me count:
when safari beta for windows was out, apple said "secure from day 1", and in 48 hours, security hole was reported.
Claiming windows has 114,000 virus, while its source said mostly the numbers are malwars and adwares. of course, when implying windows, apple didn't bother to tell how many virus are active, especially for vista, do you know the #?
Every battery information about mac laptops are inaccurate at best.
Claim updating to vista need update of everything while switch to mac is hassle-free? hello? That is obviously ask windows users to switch, how exactly does that save any hassle? Users are asked to buy even more hardwares!
No hunting for drivers.... Hello, I have a HP LJ 1020, is SJ gonna magically transfer a driver to my MB w/o me doing anything?
When windows users do a software update, it offers a new app? Does M$ do that when you update Office?
Claiming NBC want to charge $4.99/episode of TV, while, now we all know how much they are asking.
Claiming OSX can "squeeze every bit of performance out of Intels engines", unlike windows. hello?
Portray PC as equal to "windows" computer in every ads, hello? "Mac runs windows too"?

Sorry, I don't have time to sit in front of my computer to look at every little thing. Adware and Malwar are classified as viruses in the broad spectrum of things. To many casual computer people anything that infects a computer without your knowledge or consent that causes computer related issues is considered a virus. As a company Apple understands what people know and will use that information to boost the sells. That's Advertising.
Probably true, but you are running a program that was originally created for Apple by Apple in Windows, I'm sure iTunes and Quicktime have the same issues with running on a Windows machine.
I'm sure there are to many to count, but that # has to include Malwar and Adware and Spyware and Trojan Horses and so on.
SAme with PC's, that's life. No one can make a battery that can last as long as they say. There are to many factors involved i.e: Temp, location, elevation, use, whether you allow it to fully discharge before charging it. Any battery manufacturer not just computers can not make a battery that is guaranteed to last the time they say. I don't know why they even give a time frame.
Not exactly to sure what you are saying, I moved from a PC to a mac a year ago and I love it. Yes, are there things that you need to re-learn? of course, same thing could be said from someone switching to Linux or from mac to windows. When Vista came out a lot of the older hardware could not be used, fact, and this piece of info comes directly from IT professionals. Just another Marketing ploy.
Well, gee. If Apple or any other computer maker or OS maker had every single driver for every single hardware out there there would be no room on your system for any files or anything else. They put in there what is the most used and most popular on the market and then a few others. I know the 1020 it's old.

Yup, windows can do this, until it gets bogged down by endless amounts of cached files and registry items that you can't seem to find to save your life to quite and free-up processor power.
And runs windows way better in my opinion. 🙂
Sorry for the long post but I wanted to answer all of this. Not trying to be a jerk about it but everything that I see you write you seem to hate Apple with a passion. Apple is just like ever other company, they want to sell their goods and they will no matter what. it's all marketing advertising...

anyways, these commercials are biased, half truths, and highly annoying. if macs are so great, they should be able to stand on its own without presenting windows in a negative manner. they just love to diss windows so much but answer this -
if you despise windows so much, why did you even make "boot camp" to allow running windows? ($$$?) of course! i mean wouldnt that despicable damned thing from microsoft contaminate the lovely mac? why put such trash on a beautiful mac?
