The regular price is now $4.99. Currently, I do not have any discounts planned.

$4.99 is the store. Hurry version 3.0 is due any day now and is a free upgrade from version 2.

I am a long time user of Yoink, purchased via MacUpdate.com, current version 2.5.2. Is it good to stay on the online version, are there any differences between this and the new MAS version? Will version 3 be made available as an upgrade for our non-MAS versions?

BTW, great little app, in my view, indispensable.

I probably should have been more clear about it, my apologies.

Yoink 3 will be available on the Mac App Store, of course, and it is a free upgrade for existing customers of the app #

I am not aware that Yoink can be purchased through MacUpdate - are you sure you didn't purchase it from the Mac App Store?
I never offered a non-App Store paid version apart from the demo version.

Hi Matt

My mistake, the app bought from MacUpdate was Yep!. However, having now checked back through my records, I did in fact purchase Yoink v 1.0.1 via iTunes App Store on 11 October 2011, so I should be good to go with the upgrade when it's released. My apologies for the memory lapse, I knew it was quite a while ago!!
 
Look forward to the update.

I use it loads to add artwork to stuff in iTunes.
Very handy.
