I came across some concept arts of the Mac Mini. Do you guys think these would be good designs for the Mac Mini? I particularly like the idea of colored Mac Minis.
Yes. The dumbest thing about the Mac Mini is that the power button isn't on the front like it should be.At least the power ⏻ is in a better location.
The colors I'd have to see in person before deciding... if that orange was more of a "brushed copper" that might be interesting. It seems like this concept is closer to the size of the previous Mini than the current one?
that's an optional $599 upgradewhere is the cut out to keep my coffee cup boiling?
Yep,Yes. The dumbest thing about the Mac Mini is that the power button isn't on the front like it should be.
The color option would be cool, and given this is supposed to be a consumer product like the imac, why not.I came across some concept arts of the Mac Mini. Do you guys think these would be good designs for the Mac Mini? I particularly like the idea of colored Mac Minis.
I don't know the last time I used the power button on my Mac miniYes. The dumbest thing about the Mac Mini is that the power button isn't on the front like it should be.
I feel like Apple could make the Mac Mini even smaller and have it be so that you can mount it on the back of your computer screen and hide it from view. This would be a cool evolution of the current design in my opinion. These concepts seem to be more like the old design just thinner, but I think this could be adapted to go somewhere. Add in some cool colors like shown, bring back the legacy ports like the one shown, but use the new design. The twist is, instead of being small and taller, it's just smaller. Remove the cooling fans. My MBA M4 and Mac Mini have about a 20 degree celsius difference when doing demanding tasks. The only difference is the mini has a fan and 2 more gpu cores. So, swap the fan for a large vapor chamber combined with graphene sheets and shrink the case down to the thinness we see in these concepts. Now the Mac mini is very mini, like a Macbook air but byodkm. Now it can travel better. The studio now is the direct desktop equivalent to the Macbook Pro and the mini is the direct desktop version of a Macbook air.
No it's not. You can't turn this on with one hand.At least the power ⏻ is in a better location.
You wouldn’t get very many ports with that and I already need more ports than the m4 can offerI feel like Apple could make the Mac Mini even smaller and have it be so that you can mount it on the back of your computer screen and hide it from view.
Can you show an example?back to pastels again, I would think surrealistic would be more appropriate
Yes. The dumbest thing about the Mac Mini is that the power button isn't on the front like it should be.
The only time my Mac power cycles is when it updates. I don’t understand the power button complaints, are folks moving their Mac mini constantly?I don't know the last time I used the power button on my Mac mini
