Ancandis macrumors member Original poster Feb 22, 2010 #1 After resetting my Mac mini with the PMU reset it - runs its fan on full speed - the front (power) LED does not show anything - SMC fan control shows "0°C" / "000rpm" Any way how to fix that? I did a PRAM and PMU reset again, but no go. Thanks.

The only thing I did was the PMU reset (unplugged all cables for 10 sec. and plugged the mains cable while holding the power button).

FrancoisC macrumors 6502a Feb 23, 2010 #4 Newer Mac don't have PMU if I remember correctly. You may have damaged your Mini by doing this.
