The fonts are pretty clear and colors are better in HDR mode. However, after using an iMac I'm for so be long my eyes are spoiled.

I'm used to dual screens and set up my old Samsung 4k monitor vertical mode.

So far so good.

43’’ @ 4K PPI is very far from iMac 27’s 218 ppi. It’s almost half of the iMac’s PPI.
8K is needed ahah!

You are correct that there is no comparison to my 27Inch 5k iMac screen .

For now, this 43 inch display works better for my WFH application in which I needed more desktop to emulate my work setup of 4 x1080p screens.

I can say it has to use an active hdmi cable to get my samsung 4k monitor running stable on the M1 Mac mini.

One last thing the LG 43 inch monitor comes with all it's own Cables ( USB C, Display Port & HDMI). As I have the 43 inch conn to the USB C port & 28 inch 4k conn to the HDMI ports on the M1.
