Now my Bluetooth keyboard apparently already shipped on the 12th although I have yet to see it. It shipped via "Same Day Right Away". I cant find this company anywhere on the web to take a look at what is up with my package.

Yours is an example where I think that its a good idea to have all packages shipped at the same time. Why pay for something ahead that you can't use. Apple has insured the package, so your covered if it should get lost. As usual patience is very important.

*ehem*...since I work at LAX as a passenger screener, I will answer this easily. X-Rays can see through it. I'll be able to distinguish the characteristics of a portable machine within the Mini Mac, namely the optical drive, the hard drive underneath and the other assorted pieces. It'll look like a compacted laptop computer otherwise.

It'll probably be the same idea densitywise as a console gaming machine, such as an X-Box or PS2.

BTW, we don't ask people to turn on their machines anymore, at least where I work. We test it with other means. (Nothing bad, I promise, actually it's easier than turning the machine on.)

Yep. I ordered my mini on Saturday afternoon and received an e-mail confirming the price. Today, I checked my order online and found that the price had gone down. (I ordered the Airport Card and Bluetooth combo.)

I expected an e-mail telling me the good news, but did not receive one. But at least the discount was given online -- which is good enough for me. Now I need to see that the mini has shipped!
