Thank's y'all! I'm having fun with this - the response has been great.

At this point, I'm perfectly fine to just leave it as a free download and rack up some MakerWorld credits. That said, there has been a lot of interest from folks who don't have 3D printers.

I'm not personally interested in getting into the complexities and labor of physical production and sales/shipping, but I may have a contact whom I could license to do print-on-demand production on my behalf. Stay tuned for pricing etc.
Just drop the Apple logo so you don't get in any trouble. You have done a great job. I see you have a on/off switch solution, I thought of the exact same solution, the difference is, you made one. Well done!

That's awesome! I don't have a Mini (well, I do, but it's a 2009), so I won't be using your files, but bravo zulu!

Question:

1. I wouldn't even know where to start with printing, I don’t even know anyone with this.
2. What would be a reasonable price to offer for someone (you?) to make this?
3. Can you see the white light on the front, is it covered or shows through?

Thanks
Check with your local library. Two of our libraries recieved 3D printers donated from corporate sponsors, such as Intel, and allow you to upload the STL file and print for free.

@azdude That's a very very nice project you made. I'm sure that quite some Mac users would want this.
It does look very nice next to all of the MacPro models out there.
😃

It looks really nice but I think there are two problems with this design related with the cooling system.

First by putting it vertical it doesn’t dissipate the heat properly since the heat goes up.

The other thing is the case itself. You’re covering the big part of the aluminum from the Mac Mini with Plastic, so the heat that could be dissipate through the top of the Mac Mini now is hold into the case.

I know that maybe the Mac Mini doesn’t heat up too much in general, but I think for hard tasks that could be the case.

That is awesome! Well done, thanks for sharing the photos & the design.

I Absolutely love this, but Apple’s legal department is probably not going to like it as much…

Excuse me, but your shameless, egregious, wholly-unauthorized and unsanctioned misappropriation of the classic Apple® "Rainbow" logo as your avatar is yet another example of the sort of crass, wonton intellectual property theft that infects all corners of the internet like a class 5 malignancy. Have you no shame?

:p

(no actual righteousness contained in this post. This project is just the best and kudos to the creativity and skill of the OP!)
