3d printers being able to print metal are uncommon / unaffordable in the consumer and also in the prosumer sector. Carbon-fiber-reinforced materials are possible and other, very resilient materials. But not true metal.I don’t know much about 3D printing. Could your model also be used to make a metal printed enclosure?
I’d guess the number of iMacs discarded that can no longer be reused since environmental Apple discontinued target display mode will far outnumber these little things.Apple works hard to be environmental friendly and this shows up.

My 2014 27" iMac Retina is still the best screen I own, so the lack of Target Display Mode is a real shame.I’d guess the number of iMacs discarded that can no longer be reused since environmental Apple discontinued target display mode will far outnumber these little things.
