I really love the mini...
if apple were to discontinue the pro I wonder if someone could figure out a way to daisy chain mac minis. 5 mac mini servers = 20 cores!!!

You pay per MB?

But the point of an HTPC is to offer many things, like streaming services. And to do away with needing shiny discs when you turn on the TV. The Mini plays BD rips just fine. And without noise.

Jobs is dead. All macs with optical drives will upgrade to BD drives. Soon enough.

iTunes store movies downloading won't be hurt much. Neither will the piracy that drives most downloaded movies nor the crappy quality that pleases most thieves. Because it's free, Man.

Apple no longer needs to control how people live. That psychosis is gone. Because in the long run, it hurt business far more than it helped.
