And which of those services will sell or stream me 50 Mbps 1080p BD quality movies, or reimburse me for the $10 per movie that I have to pay for bandwidth charges to download them?
You pay per MB?

But the point of an HTPC is to offer many things, like streaming services. And to do away with needing shiny discs when you turn on the TV. The Mini plays BD rips just fine. And without noise.
 
How can a device without BD support be "great for an HPTC"?

Jobs is dead. All macs with optical drives will upgrade to BD drives. Soon enough.

iTunes store movies downloading won't be hurt much. Neither will the piracy that drives most downloaded movies nor the crappy quality that pleases most thieves. Because it's free, Man.

Apple no longer needs to control how people live. That psychosis is gone. Because in the long run, it hurt business far more than it helped.
