Installed on my PM... no apparent problems. ;) I just installed my new Airport Extreme base station tonight as well. Works great! :D

What a night... new base station and 10.3.9. :p

Bluetooth??

Has anyone else had probs w/ bluetooth after upgrading?? After installed my Apple mouse and keyboard would not connect... Restarted, and then my computer said I no longer had a Bluetooth card... Restarted again, and everything was fine.. phew

safari

This update has safari 1.3

Also, my Doom speed increased by 60fpd*

*Frames Per Day

this will be the last update to panther.. long live the great panther! ~sigh~ good times.. good times... :(

transparent windows

What does "Use transparent window" in the safari debug menu do (besides get rid of window shadows)? That seems to be new. Someone smart here should spend some unnecessary time figuring it out. :p

Hi Mitch, Apple Pro Wireless Mouse worked immediately upon restart here.

...and here I am on Safari 1.2.4... waiting for the 10.3.9 download to complete. I feel so deprived!

Changes noticed so far:

1. Safari's bookmark bar has all the defaults back again.
2. About This Mac says 10.3.9.

Those are all the changes I've noticed!

it's really odd. it lets you highlight the entire window contents, even blank space and lets you drag the window around from any spot in the window. edit: does the highlight thing anyway. i have no idea what it does then. it wouldnt load pithhelmet when i started safari because it "hadn't been tested" and it didn't connect to my wifi network on startup but other than that it's all good. dock curiously seems better.

Woohoo!

Trackpad fix for my 15" PowerBook! Now lets hope it works.

Addresses slow vertical tracking and intermittent trackpad behavior on PowerBook G4 12-inch 1.5GHz, 15-inch 1.67/1.5GHz, and 17-inch 1.67GHz computers.
:D

Safari Changes

Has anybody else noticed that you can no longer option-click a download to see the speed (instead of the estimated download time).... strange huh?

Also, Safari has crashed on me 3 times in the last 10 minutes after this update... repairing disk permissions now....

all the default bookmarks in the bookmark bar return. other than that, no problems on this iMac G5.

Yeah same problem here....Safari's stability has dropped.. I tried to watch a streaming video and it crashed everytime... Oh well i quess i can just live with Firefox for 14 days... Cant wait for tiger :D :D

Pop-up blocker fixed

Safari's pop-up blocker appears to be fixed. I cleared out all cookies and cache and went to a known pop-under "offender" site (MacDailyNews) and didn't get one!

Everything seems to be running fine. I haven't experienced the BT issues that one poster mentioned.

On my system, both the estimated time and the speed are now displayed simultaneously.
