Anything good or are they all just boring things, also how long roughly do you think it will be before release

Documented changes always seem insignificant, but since it has no listed known issues the release should be soon imho.

Therefore, we can assume that every time there is a significant update to the iPhone/Touch software the Touch users are going to have to pay yet again. :(

Its a lot less than buying a new Touch. Imagine the whining if they had done that! I suspect that Apple are keeping the iPhone and Touch codebase combined for ease of maintenance and to deploy the features needed to support the SDK. Or to put it another way - my 1st Gen Nano can't play video. I'm not expecting Apple to update it to do so. And I don't see Apple holding a gun to anyone's head forcing them to buy the extra apps if they don't want to.

In future I would not be surprised if Apple lets the whiners swing in the wind and not offer upgrades to existing Touchs. See how they like them apples. :D

Darn it, so that means we have like another month to wait for this update:mad:. That was the only reason I was looking for to MacWorld so much, because I thought the update would come out then. I really hope it fixes my MBP taking 5 minutes to wake out of sleep, or sometimes not waking up at all.

I have heard of the same issue. Try backing everything up, wipe everything clean and doing a fresh Leopard Install. I have heard that a fresh, full install has fixed this.
