I know this a Leopard thread but there are all these Tiger posts...I would think there must be a fixable problem with your system if 10.4.10 is buggy on your Mac.

I had trouble with 10.4.3, 10.4.4 and 10.4.8 but it was never anything note worthy. For the most part Tiger "for me" has been the most stable OS I have ever used. Way better than any MS product i have had to use at work.
