That doesn't happen a lot.Hello Everyone,
I ran software update, and it stated 10.6.3 was available. I went to download it and it said it wasnt able to, I then refreshed and it was gone. Could this mean its on the way?
Historically, OS X updates are just about as likely to come on any day Monday through Thursday (with Monday having a slight edge).Doesn't the Tuesday thing only relevant for new product releases?
I have seen all manner of software updates come in any day.
Is it because this is an OSX .. release?
If it does arrive today it would probably be later in the day. That's my own experience though. It could actually be any time.Any chance it will still arrive today or is it too late? I'm holding off setting up my new 27" Mac 'cos I want to start with the latest updates!
It's just that when I set up a new computer I like to start with as clean a system as possible. If I install 10.6.3 I won't have to install all the little incremental updates that have been released since 10.6.2. It just seems cleaner...So why are people so anxious for 10.6.3. Is apple adding new functionality or just bug fixes. SL has been very stable for me and while Its great to see a major bug fix, Having a number of threads pop up lately about this seems to indicate folks are anxious for it
