Mac OS X 10.6.8 kills Toast 10

I installed the Mac OS X 10.6.8 update this morning and Toast 10.0.8 will no longer launch. I also downloaded BurnXFree 1.5 but it can't find a DVD burner in my iMac 🙁

At least Apple's burn in the Finder still works.

I have Toast Titanium 10.0, which still works fine for me with 10.6.8 on a MBP.

Just tried mine, and it launches ok.

As a first step, I'd suggest reinstalling 10.6.8 update using the Combo Updater, instead of the delta (or through Software Update).

Thanks. I have restarted my iMac and Toast worked again - though it took some time to launch.

I might try deleting the preferences to see if that speeds up the launch.

That was a 30 minute near panic as I have yet to do 10.6.8, and I have Toast 10.0.1 !!

You should be ok. You can download the update to 10.0.8 at the Roxio web site.
