T theq macrumors newbie Original poster Jun 26, 2011 #1 I installed the Mac OS X 10.6.8 update this morning and Toast 10.0.8 will no longer launch. I also downloaded BurnXFree 1.5 but it can't find a DVD burner in my iMac 🙁 At least Apple's burn in the Finder still works.

gr8tfly macrumors 603 Jun 26, 2011 #3 Just tried mine, and it launches ok. As a first step, I'd suggest reinstalling 10.6.8 update using the Combo Updater, instead of the delta (or through Software Update).

T theq macrumors newbie Original poster Jun 26, 2011 #4 Thanks. I have restarted my iMac and Toast worked again - though it took some time to launch. I might try deleting the preferences to see if that speeds up the launch.
