well hello there i have aquestion can you run different opperatin systems using spaces? like to use mac os x in one and another one linux and the 3rd one windows? how many operatin systems can you run in one pc at once thanks can anyone please upload a picture of the mac using spaces with diffetens os's
 
You can run virtualized applications in different spaces, but you can't run a completely different OS within a Space.

Well, you could maybe make it appear as though it were. You could do something like this with Parallels or VMware Fusion.

Thats exactly what he was meaning, running visualization software. Speaking of spaces is it a popular feature? I tried to use it last week when I was editing video, it came in handy when I needed all the screen space possible for Premiere Pro. But when I was just doing web-surfing, music etc it didnt really do much good for me.

If you were to connect an external monitor, are you able to have one space on the external and another space on the MB screen? and are you able to switch it easy?

P.S sorry Im not trying to hijack the thread :p

No, the Space spans both monitors, so you just have a "larger" Space.

Woops I must have read it wrong. I take that back.

Sucks about that, it would be a pretty nifty feature to be able to set up multiple displays like that...
