I sure hope they include PPC support. It'll piss me off if I go out and buy a new PowerBook G5 only to find out it's not supported by 10.7.
like this?I think it should be called liger, and it will have magical powers
Why do I have this feeling that MacOS X 10.6 may be the last major development of the MacOS X line?
I (in my humble opinion!) wouldn't be surprised that Apple will announce the before the end of 2009 the development of MacOS XI 11.0, the first major OS architectural change in the MacOS design since the original MacOS X 10.0 with full ZFS support and the "Marble" interface standard. With beta kits becoming available to developers by WWDC in June 2010....
I think it will be:
OS X 10.7 "Garfield". He is a big cat after all. But thats just me.
Maybe with OS XI they can use rock band names. Mac OS XI: Spinal Tap. "This OS goes to 11!"
Beautiful edit. I even get the reference (which is rare these days).

Shall we start a petition for Apple to include PPC support in 10.7?
Shall we start a petition for Apple to include PPC support in 10.7?
Only for the PowerBook G5 though, obviously.

Yes! And not only that, when I install 10.7 on my PPC, I want the OS to always put "Pro" and "Collector's Edition" on the end of my machine's name. So Profiler will tell me I have a PowerBook G5 Pro Collector's Edition.![]()
I think this is the real deal, I don't think this is photoshopped, I can tell from the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.
FAKE! It's missing the lol saying.
This post is funny on so many geeky levels... well 2 levels. But it is funny. Beautiful edit. I even get the reference (which is rare these days).
Incidentally, no idea what features it might have. I do think that a simultaneous dual boot would be pretty great. I am able to sort of do that with Parallels on a difference 'Space'. It makes checking Windows compatibility on the web soo much easier.
