Amethyst, that worked perfectly The Asus PA32QCV on screen menu now shows 50hz, and is fully functional in 3008x1692 HiDPI on a MacPro 5,1, Vega 56 in Monteray OC. Much smoother screen. SwitchResX in trial mode and definitely worth to purchase a full license.

Thank you so much for the detailed instructions!

Hi all, I just got the ASUS PA32QCV 6K, and I love it. I also have been wrestling with HiDPI settings on macOS (26.4 Beta (25E5223i)), MacBook Pro M4 Max. My setup supports a HiDPI ceiling of 3360 × 1890. I'm generally happy with this resolution, but yet I wanted to try a step up, which I believe would be 3840 × 2160. I've learned from the BetterDisplay developer that this HiDPI setting is restricted by Apple, stating that "it's a limit of how the M4 chip works, but of course could be fixed with a DCP firmware change, however Apple will not do this - they responded to feedbacks by clarifying the specs page with support info on scaled resolution limits." Would love to learn if anyone has found a way around this restriction.

Has anyone gotten HiDPI 3840 × 2160 to work on the PA32QCV?
