Mac Pro Shipping Estimates Improve to 3 to 5 Weeks

No rush, take your time
At this point, I see no sense in buying a Pro, since a new faster, improved version will be out in a few months anyway.
Since Apple's attitude is that there's no hurry in getting machines out the door, I see no upside in ordering one, then waiting months for them to ship it.
I can get a couple more years out of my current machine while Apple figures out where they left the screwdriver.

Based on intel's release schedule, probably no major updates to it for a bit. Sounds like E5 v3 would ship Q3 this year at the earliest, that would be a year after the last generation of those chips.
And a faster, improved version of every computer will arrive sooner or later. Unless there's some new specific technology that you know is coming next time around you need to buy at some point or be waiting forever as the next thing appears on the horizon.
