For deals there's a number of price comparison sights you can use.Guys, is there a Mac Rumors type site for the UK?
Mac Rumors gives everyone round the world all the news and gossip. But the deals are only for the US. Would be great to see what offers are on over here.
A lot of Canada is included as well these days.Guys, is there a Mac Rumors type site for the UK?

Nope. What I mean is alternate sites that inform UK Apple users of deals available in the UK.what ? You mean a British-only version to cater for UK users of this otherwise popular site ? "I say, what have we got here"
I think there is not one. A site has to be fairly large to support those kinds of give always, and one focused solely on a small country like the UK would not have a large enough user baseNope. What I mean is alternate sites that inform UK Apple users of deals available in the UK.
As great a site as MR is, the deals are for US and, as advised above, Canada users.
If you are referencing the banner ads that appear, frankly I’ve not seen anything there that is compelling enough to buy. For example, lately I’ve become enamored with inexpensive shoes, I see a nice looking pair of shoes pop up in a MR banner ad and they are $90. No thanks. The deals are to be found on Amazon.Nope. I think having country/region specific areas would be a great idea. Although I am in the USA, I know when I read, for example, ZDNET or CNET and the review is written with British monetary values, it's a bit frustrating to me, so I know it much be for folks in the UK, or Oz, or even in Canada. I think this would be good for our non-USA friends.
Is there a way of making suggestions to the owners or mods of Macrumors? If so, I'll make the suggestion
Just send a PM to @arn.Is there a way of making suggestions to the owners or mods of Macrumors? If so, I'll make the suggestion
If they own the domain. there might already be plansA Uk version of macrumors would be macrumours.co.uk and, interestingly enough, that very URL redirects here! (Though not macrumours.com)

Nope. I mean articles that Macrumors report about special deals Apple is offering for example if customers use Apple Pay at certain retailers. Or articles about certain retailers offering discounts on Macbooks etc
Oh no! I wouldnt expect prizes etc.
Also, in my initial post, I asked if there were any Macrumor types sites for the UK. I didn't ask for Macrumors to incorporate the whole world into one site. That would be difficult
Thanks weckart for those links. I've just had a quick browse and they seem quite UK orientated. There sort of is: Gizmodo has an Apple section and if you use .co.uk as the URL will focus on UK news. Whether you see it as a complement to MR is up to you.

Another possibility might be Engadget as a general tech site that also reports on computing. It has an Apple tag (it subsumed TUAW). It has a UK tag. Trying to have both Apple and UK together doesn't seem to work, however.
