Downloaded Steam off the link from macrumors mainpage. I have the same issue with TF2, all my other Steam games show except TF2. I can't access the store as it takes me to the beta welcome page.

Yea this is still not the "Launch" ... I just tried Torchlight and my character from Steam Cloud is not there yet so I think we still have a few to go. Getting really close now though :)

Its Live - Gogogo!

edit: Wont let me play portal...
I own team fortress 2 but it doesnt show up in my owned games list, and call of duty 2 gives me the option to install but doesnt do anything when i click it.

Already downloaded Portal, and now it says my 7300 GT (Mac Pro) does not meet the video requirements. Sucks.

Same here.

Sucks because it works FINE in bootcamp on this machine. I guess Apple hasn't put forth the effort to make decent drivers for anything but the most recent Macs...

Yeah, wtf...Steam games are the only thing I keep a Boot Camp partition for, everything else runs fine in a VM. However, I don't feel like buying an 8800 or whatever card I would need just to play these games. Ugh.

I mean, at the Apple prices, you could buy a 360 and the orange box and have money left over for the price of a current graphics card.

I played all of these games up to TF2 on a PC I built in 2004 for 500 bucks, plus 1 upgrade to a 6600 GT a couple years later.

my mac pro can handle it. they should just let it try to run and we'll see what happens.

Portal is free but now Killing Floor has gone missing from my list lol

My games are being abducted :p

Question: I've got the Orange Box on CD (for PC obviously). Is there any way to pick some files from it to install Portal without downloading everything from the internet?
