Mac Sticker Designs!!

I guess it's not for everyone, but I really love the look of my computer now.
 
Not a sticker but I love the look of laser engraved Macbook Pros. Does anyone have any pictures to share?
 
I just ordered three and am gonna brave installing it on my macbook pro...I'm so nervous!

As far as criticism I really don't care because I'm never going to sell this thing... I never get rid of my computers because I am a savager for parts... why sell good parts?

Main reason for this was because I hate the dirt / shiny spots my skin was leaving near the mouse pad, then the outer shell was getting scratched by my bag's zipper, so I said screw it and made it look like my boards, door, ramp, etc...

Although I am starting to like the skins from gelaskins.com have some really neat designs, so I may end up buying one.

I Love that style! I Cant Skate, but quite a few friends do, and there stuff always looks so awesome! The Top needs more, and the hand rest area looks a little outta place, but my hats off to you!
 
im not a fan of stickers on my mac - but i am a massive fan of them all over my pc cases :p i just like macs to be macs :D

looks good tho - and if you like it thats all that matters!

Just cause I collect underground art and can get a matching one for the iphone.

i like the mbp ones BUT you no longer have the apple logo which i dont like :S
 
Very true, but kinda looks like crap right now cause it shines through the valley elephant I have, makes the elephant look like Kano from mortal kombat cause only one eye lights up red. Lol, really frustrating.

i have some stickers on my black hp laptop but i wont put any on my mbp, only laser engrave it.

That print by Andō Hiroshige from his '36 Views of Mount Fuji', it is 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa'.

One of the original wood block prints, 'Ukiyo-e' is in Blackburn Museum, Blackburn Lancashire England, the next town to where I was born, I first saw it in my teens. I'm now 45 and live in Kanagawa, Japan about 1 hour from Enoshima beach where the print is set.

Isn't life odd.

how about buying an incase hardshell, then sticking the stickers on that? ;)
 
I made the stickers myself. Cut, paste, and designed them in photoshop as an 8.5"x11" project. Then I took the files to be printed on sticker paper. It worked really well, actually. I bought an xacto knife and some good scissors and went to town. Total cost of project: $5.37.

were they glossy or laminated otherwise they will fade really quickly!

got any pics of the project?

I think people that dont like stickers just dont like stickers, whether on a shell or on the computer. The decreased value thing is really a moot point since you can take stickers off without leaving any residue if you use proper cleaner

Hi, I'm a huge FLCL fan too. Could you please explain in greater detail exactly how you made that design on the apple on the front of your laptop? Much appreciated.
