Maybe I should try another enclosure, observing the speeds posted by you guys.

What were you expecting?

The numbers are inline AFAIK with other TB4 benchmarks. For TB5, ( I have the OWC Envoy Ultra) and its as fast as my internal drive. I definitely recommend getting a TB5 enclosure if performance is important

I haven’t used TB4 since I was homeless, back in 2016.
Even typing ‘TB4’ is quite beneath me, and I can taste some sick coming up.

Ah yes, the OWC TB5 Envoy ‘eh.
Damn fine piece of work, and one that befits my proper status. No stooping down to the gutter there.
In fact I was proud to place my order, and told them so. They didn’t reply, but I’m sure OWC can recognise class when they see it.

This is as bad or worse as the linux neckbeards, were a simple mistake of not being familiar with a tech or simply missing a number lead to the gang up.
