Problems with MacOS and Display panels come from not having the exact output and input signals between your Mac and Displays(s)
I have found out that MacOS has locked its output and input to be precise and dependent on the exact configuration said in your Mac's specs
The monitors even if you have more than one have to match not only the dedicated MacOS output but the monitors can't be different in terms of what your Macs output configuration
If you have two monitors all the three signals (two monitors + Mac) must be the same input and output settings with the same exact specs you can't have one monitor with 60hz or one monitor with 60hz and up to 144hz those two monitors are prepared Only for those settings from the MacOS
Locking the input and output between monitors and Mac is a very smart move from Apple
