This is not true in the U.S. I bought a iBook and called apple the very next day to upgrade my order to a Powerbook and they refused.

This is not true in the U.S. I bought a iBook and called apple the very next day to upgrade my order to a Powerbook and they refused.
I might be a little late to the party, but I've had a PowerBook for 3 years, got an iMac just under a year ago. My friends and family fell in love with the machine. So much that my folks bought an iMac to replace the PC downstairs. Had to reassure them with "but it can run XP and Vista too", they now use both systems equally. Sorta like me I suppose!
Everyone here has an iPod too. The whole freakin family. Even people without computers! They're slowly leaking in.
