Mac will not boot - HELP

Thats normal Formatting 250Gb will show up as like 232... its Fine... (I wont go into the techincal stuff)

Ok thanks for your help. It's installing and should take about 45 mins. I only backup my music and vids. I guess I should start backing up everything. Ughh

Oh well. As long as it's fixed. I should put it back in the box and pretend it's my first time opening it.

I'll have look if you can cahnge this anywhere, should be possible since unix adresses macbooks by some weird serial number not by name...

Just tried toi jsut cahgne the name, like any other Folder works fine


i was dumb, of course Unix mounts the Startup disk as / so the name doesent matter I should have know that "hitmyselfwithastick"

I figures that you could. I just wanted to make sure. About 10 mins.

I only wanted xp to play an ocassional game or two. Oh well
