There is another thread about a loose battery here making some noise.

So, is it normal? Something loose inside. The battery dangles inside?
Why don't you just buy one and if you have any issues with it, just return it?
All things can break, but that doesn't mean that they will. Of course you will find a lot of people having issues here, and posting about it. It is the nature of all forums. People come here to get support and discuss potential issues. They don't come to say how great things are.

Hello. Viktor. I type a lot with my Macbook and I am very happy with the performance, but please note that the sturdiness of Macbook keyboard 12 is not the same as the keyboard MBP. In fact mine needed to be replaced by a faulty key (spacebar) only three days after you bought it. Despite this, it is a very good and beautiful notebook. Regarding which model, if you persist with the idea of buying a Macbook, 512GB SSD always sounds better than 256.

Dear professionals! Dear friends! Help me, please!

I am from Russia. And I decided to buy MacBook 12 device (I want to replace my 13 inch MacBook Pro) for daily work at home, on the road and in office.

For me the main things I need are portability, convenience in typing (I use MS Office a lot, about 10 hours a day), and also autonomy. I am working in the sphere of science, so I work with a lot of researches and databases. I need to use ms office (special business version with power pivot, power map and other special tools), latex, spss, mathtype, mathematica, stata, qlick view, adobe acrobat pro, indesign, finereader, 1c, ms visio, ms project and etc. And, of course, I like to watch movies in the evening. These are the main programs I need to use, other are less productive. I am also doing a lot of administrative work, that is why I always have hundreds emails every day and I should response on them very quickly, so I also work on my Apple iPhone to be always online.

So the question is, whether MacBook 12 will satisfy all my needs.

Thank You very much!

Best wishes, Viktor

Dear Lfabio. Martinez, thank You, but I have already bought MacBook 12 on the 19th of August. I have 2 problems: spacebar (the right of it does not work), noise in the hinge mechanism.
I type a lot every day (8 hours a day). Keyboard much better than on MBP!

So does having 200$ more after buying a laptop.

What a stupid argument.

If you have problems then take it to Apple. You shouldn't have to put up with issues on such an expensive laptop.
I absolutely agree with You, but we have not 14 days return for notebooks in Russia, so Apple said that I should go to the service and they will repair my MacBook.
