I have a puppy and a MacBook Air. Right now, I think you should get a MacBook Air because my puppy just peed on my roommate. This is not the first time either. My puppy has also let loose explosive diarrhea on the same roommate during a 2 hour car ride.

This. Sums it up perfectly. The puppy will give you far more problems than any PC you pen, let alone a Mac.
 
Enjoyed the post. I say get the puppy! Dogs are man's best friend, not Macs. You will get far more enjoyment from the puppy, at least in the long run (ie, house training puppy is the only downside in the short run).

I have a chihuahua but she is heavier than the MBA. In spite of that I still prefer the chi.
 
Get the Air, then sign up FooPet.com you can have as many puppy you want. When you are done playing with the puppy, just log off. No need to clean up. :D
