You wizard! How did that happen?
As someone who does a lot of international travel and usually gets screwed over by time zones, I like to think this is finally my moment of payback, when China's being ahead of US time has paid off for me.

Did you pay extra for shipping or was it standard?
I ordered my MBA with 13", 128gb, 8gb and the 1.8 GHz i5 on 7/14/12. I live in Michigan and chose the 2-3 day shipping. How long do you guys think it will take? I cant wait! lol
I ordered the same model on the 10th, and expected to get it by the 18th, the latest.
I called and they said they are having to manually check for the Education discount eligibility due to high volume. -_-
What?
Please, please answer my questions! I really need them answered.
When did the notice that said they have to manually check it, after shipping or before?
Did you receive a form for you to put your Student ID?
What will happen when they found out that you aren't eligible?
They told me that on the phone. It was *only* at the initial release. The 2012 MacBooks have been out for a month now. You should have no problem getting the Back to School promotion, and if purchasing online then no Student ID is necessary. However if going to an Apple Retail Store, you may need to bring your Student ID.
mine says 20-23, apparently theyre coming a day or so early so i hoping 19th or latest 21st
