wow i made the order on the 18th. its the 22 and it made it here all the way from china already. when you take into consideration it was a BTO thats pretty darn good. 4 days total. I didnt pay for special shipping either.
 
I ordered mine yesterday with my education discount.

Still processing as of right now, but my $100 free iTunes card shipped. :)
 
I ordered on the 18th (evening) and was estimated June 28 (in-store). Just got an email today that I can pick it up (June 22). 6 days early.

11 inch, i7 / 8 gb ram / 256 ssd
 
Wow I'm jealous. I ordered a BTO 13'' 8GB RAM 128 SSD on the 18th evening too, and it's still processing today...depressing. There goes the "Ships in 1-3 business days".

Did you select to pick up from store?

Mine went directly from in-processing to telling me I could pick it up. I never got any shipping information. Maybe you will get an email also soon.
 
Ugh! Shipping Date Slipped

On June 19, I ordered the 11 inch MBA maxed out version.

i7
8 GB RAM
512 GB SSD

I was going to do in-store pick up, but it said it would not arrive until June 29th. When I chose standard shipping, it said it would arrive between June 26 and June 28th.

Every day I have been tracking the status, and when it finally went to preparing for shipment, I was excited. Well this morning, I woke up and checked the status and the delivery date has slipped a full week until July 2 through the July 5.

I have no idea why this would happen, but now I'm totally bummed out.
 
I think I'm now a firm believer in Ship to Store. I ordered my 13" 2.0 Ghz, 256 Gb SSD, 8 Gb Ram Air on Jun 18th. It estimated an in store pickup of Jun 28th. But yesterday I got an email saying it was ready to pick it up in the store. It went from "Processing" to "Ready" without so much as a shipping notice. Strange but nice.
 
I also ordered on the 19th and the estimated arrival time was the 25th to the 27th. Checked this morning and the estimated arrival time has slipped to June 29th to July 3rd.

I Just checked my email and I received the following from Apple.

Due to an unexpected delay, we now anticipate shipping the following item(s) as follows:

Z0NC, MBAIR 13.3 CTO
Ships by 1 - 3 business days
Delivers by Jun 29 - Jul 3

We regret any inconvenience this delay may cause.

Pure speculation, but it seems there might be an issue with the soldered on ram with the 2012 MBA, hopefully the delay is a result of having to wait on a new batch of memory.

Interestingly my gift card shipped and arrived before the air even shipped.

Edit: mine is now in Memphis, seems to have skipped alaska and come straight from china.

My 13" i5 128 SSD arrived today.
I had the memory bumped up to 8GB.

It was one day late from China to Japan due to a typhoon and tropical storm.
Other than that it was Apple's usual great delivery service.

Loving the machine.
 
Mine arrived! Two days early :)

It's beautiful, and so much faster than my old macbook.

Does anyone have any suggestions for transferring only my iTunes and iphoto? I don't want all the other crap that was on my last computer but I can't figure out an easy way to transfer just those 2.
 
Mine is still in Anchorage, but it should be here tomorrow! :) we will see how good of an estimate that is!

I'm in the same boat... it's said in transit from Alaska since last night, but it's supposed to be here tomorrow. Wonder if there is an issue or they just stopped updating?
 
I canceled my previous order to get a different configuration on the 22nd and it is just now preparing for shipment. :( I hope I get it by the end of the week.

I made an order on the 24th, BTO, got expedited shipping, and mine is prepping for shipment today as well. Apple gives an delivery estimate of June 29-July 3, but I'm hoping its here on Friday.

I was really worried when it was still processing on the 25th-- the 29th was an absolute deadline for me, because I'm currently in Europe and needed the laptop to get to a friend who is leaving to visit me the evening of the 29th. But it made it in on the early end of the estimate! :)
