I want to buy the new macbook air retina with 256gb and 16ram.
But I do not find deals from this model.
Will Apple or any site have deals for this model?

Thanks

Would Apple Store price match these? My order is arriving on Monday for in-store pickup, and I’m wondering if I should ask about this. Well, if it’s still active at that time.
If it's an authorized reseller (like B&H), Apple with price match up to 10% off.
I don't know if they will do it after you have already placed the order though.

Remember no Tax on BH and Adorama.

The problem with them though is nada for returns.. You buy it, it's yours for the most part.. They do make exceptions sure but if you get one with excessive light bleed they are going to tell you to use Apple warranty.....

Luckily for me , I have an Apple store that's a 10 minute drive and that State does not charge sales tax...

Nice to know.

I could always just have them cancel the order when I arrive and rebuy it. Or maybe they’d just refund the difference. Sounds like it’s worth trying at least!

Adorama matched the $150 off the 256/16GB price for those of you where B&H charges tax. Doubt you will see better black Friday but who knows.

What does the return process look like? In other words, order on line, the notebook arrives, and it needs returned for whatever reason; let's say I can't leave with a dim, washed out looking screen display. Will I be able to take the receipt to the Apple Store and exchange it? Or trade it on a MBP at the Apple Store and pay the difference?

Yup... You can order online from Apple and return / exchange at local Apple store.. If you order from Adorama or BH then no you can't exchange or return it at an Apple store..

If you order from Apple online, you can return it to the store without a receipt. Normally you have 14 days, but Apple's holiday return period is in effect. "Items purchased at the Apple Online Store that are received between November 14, 2018 and December 25, 2018, may be returned through January 8, 2019."
