My new Macbook came in the new copper colour, unfortunately not seen much sun since to see it in all its glory

I like the new gold on the MBA. It is definitely a head turner though not my reason for buying. I've gotten bystanders to call it copper or pink but I think its the awful florescent lighting in the office. Objectively when comparing to other objects it is def a handsome gold shade.

You could get it and simply return it if you find the color isn't your style. Or.... check it out in an Apple Store and make your decision prior to purchase. I find the 2018 MBA Gold to be more akin to Copper than pink or gold... in certain light it looks copper, in other light it has a more pinkish hue, but still isn't pink. It's kind of hard to explain.

My wife has the Gold 2018 MBA, likes it a lot. I have the Space Grey 2018 MBA, but I buy Space Grey everything (Space Grey Squad represent).

A gold computer is ugly and will have no resale value when you go to sell it. Plus, it's not a very manly color. My opinion, of course. But I wouldn't be caught dead sitting at a Starbucks with a gold-colored computer in my lap. I don't buy my computers for bling anyway; I buy them to get **** done.

Newsflash: Women buy computers too.

I used to be a Space Grey Squad member. But I bought this Air in silver color and I'd buy it again in silver. I don't know, it just matches a MacBook Air.

Actually, it's aluminum pure color, and MacBooks used to be this color since the unibody design, until the newest design came up with Space Grey MBP.

If I had to buy a MacBook Pro, tho, I'd probably buy a Black or Space Grey one. For me it's a bit like MacBook Air -> Silver. MacBook Pro -> Space Grey. Don't ask me why.
