Hi there,

I’m having a similar issue while working. I showed my screen to my team and then the laptop rebooted with a pink screen. It happens stably once every 2 weeks.

p.s. I am using a second screen via Mac adapter.

Have a nice day!

panic(cpu 5 caller 0xfffffe002ad55798): "dart-dispext0 (0xfffffe2332d54000): SMMU(SMMU) error: SID 0 PTE invalid exception on read with DVA

Hi All,

It seems that the last macOS update fixed all my gremlins.

Been on macOS 11.4 for a while now, 24.05.2021, and all these problems I was having just went away, including this kernel panic.

No pink screen crashes since then.
No audio drop outs
etc.
etc.

Nice! :)

Hope you all have had the same positive time these last few weeks.

Best wishes
Martin

In Ventura 13.4.1, the problem still exists. The USB-C/HDMI adapter is connected to the laptop, a monitor and keyboard on it.

And also in Sonoma 14.0 The crashes are occurring between 6x daily and once in a week. I could not identify any pattern. I am using a MBP with M1 pro. No beta software. And it is fu... me up.
