I have a 2013 MBA which I've had 12 battery cycles with. I don't even need a laptop anymore. It's going on Craigslist.

Hi,

I only have a 13" MBP at the moment. I would be very happy to have an 11" MBA. I have no interest in getting an iPad. Perhaps some day I may buy an iPad if it is also helpful as a focusing-aid for camera users like myself. I have heard of some people using an iPad as focus-help with some cameras, but I have not delved yet into it. I would like to have some of the applications designed for the iPad or iPod in an 11" MBA. Let's see if it is possible. It would definitely be much easier for me to type in an 11" MBA as it is in an iPad!

Very kind regards,

igmolinav : ) !!!

My situation is reverse. I have a 4th gen 64 gb iPad that's been awesome. But I keep bouncing back and forth on buying a MBA or a rMBP. Now there's rumors of a new air this year, not sure what to buy.

I wanted to see how Macbook Air owners feel about the need to have an iPad also, or not.

I currently have both, but I use my iPad less and less.

I have a 13 inch MacBook Air and can't justify purchasing an iPad.

The only appealing thing the iPad offers to me is the ability to watch Movies/TV shows while on the treadmill at the gym. Everything else? I'd rather be on my Mac.

So i've had an iPad for about 2 and 1/2 years and an old macbook. I used the iPad for most things and only the macbook when i needed it for word-processing or powerpoint. sadly after 7 yrs, it died. :(

Bought a 13" MBA 2 weeks ago and now rarely use the iPad.
I think I would be completely content with just the iPhone and MBA.

However, since I have the iPad Air already, my kids love playing with it and I still like using it to stream video i'll keep it. just not so sure i'll be jumping on the next upgrade cycle or 2.
