I think you misunderstood . I have not owned hundreds of teams , of course !!! my English is limited and lean with google translator. I 've seen, I worked , repaired , hundreds of macbook, all models, iMac, Mac mini, Mac Pro .... I thought I had read the post correctly, he explained clearly that I am technical , so I know well the Apple computers.

I try to help those in need , here no mine competitors.

Modest try, won't work.

Many people have bought the rMB for exactly the uses the OP outlined and are very happy. I had one for two weeks and flogged it and found that for the OP's uses it is essentially indistinguishable in performance from a rMBP. I am not alone - there are quite a few threads in the MacBook forum from very happy users. Here a recent thread from someone who's only note was that FCPX exports took longer, which would be expected: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/rmb-1-week-in-my-impressions.1893849/

The OP would very likely be very satisfied with the rMB. In fact, it would be very reasonable to buy one and try it for two weeks and see how it does. As far as pure performance, he'd likely be very happy. There are other questions, such as whether you want to buy a Gen1 product, whether the single port suits your work style and whether the keyboard works for you, but those don't relate to whether it can do the tasks the OP wants a computer to perform.

But I think its quite silly to dismiss the Core M just because its a low-power CPU.

Me too, if that were the only limitation. Apple also throttles based on heat, and given the poor airflow (note: none) this thing can get hot fairly quick.

Just doing some office work and web browsing will not make Core M generate enough heat to have it throttled. Different tools for different purposes. Nobody here is recommending Core M for heavy-duty media content creation.

I can confirm this from actual use.
