Good morning - ordered a new MacBook Air last week. I m confused as I just received this message from UBS:

Return to Sender10/22/2020 17:09 Ontario, CA, United States
A dangerous goods irregularity occurred with this package. We'll contact the sender with additional information. / The package will be returned to the sender.
10/22/2020 9:02-We currently have the package. The receiver requested clearance by a non-UPS broker. / As requested, the package was transferred to a Free Trade Zone or a non-UPS broker.

Did you order from Apple?
 
There are restrictions on how devices with lithium batteries get handled, so maybe that has something to do with the "dangerous goods" warning.
 
Hello again. Thanks for info. I talked to both ups and Apple. They had no further info except that the parcel was stopped at us customs. Never made it over the border to Canada.

so now what do I do? I need a new computer. If I order through Apple again will the same thing happen. Should I just buy from a Apple retailer in British Columbia?
 
Wait for 72 hours for a possible update to the shipping.
Try to refrain from checking UPS during that wait time.
(Be patient, my friend)
