Hi, drumming up an old thread, but need to resolve a little confusion. I have a late 2011 MBP, and the attached are my battery stats. Obviously the computer is out of warranty, but the battery in terms of cycle count is not. Could I have a case for replacement, or not?

No chance you've had fair use out of that battery in all honesty

Yeah well the battery served for 4 years. While it served, the battery did give me excellent service of about 7 hours with half brightness, running browser and Pages. It is in this sad shape since last year. I was wondering if it was about cycles, and not time used.. hence put up the query. :)

It's designed to retain 80% at Upto 1000 cycles does not mean it will. And tbh Apple word it in a way that your only covered under warranty.
