MacBook Case Problem

I just noticed my MacBook has a crack in the classic spot right under my right palm.................and i have always closed the laptop in a very carefull manner..................oh well, another couple of days in the service center....

They seem to have my Mac more than i do................

macbook case problem

im on my fourth case!!! and it needs another!! now the whole thing doesn't fit and i have gaps everywhere!!!

IT hasn't happened to the current generation yet because it's simply too new. Apple has also changed the case a bit on the current models.

Mine has already cracked, it is the current generation. They really need to work this out. My previous 2.2 cracked three times... they replaced it no questions every time. Lets solve the problem apple!

Great information here. Sorry to wake a slightly old thread, but does anyone have advice for getting this fixed with no Apple Store close? Seattle is 5 hours drive, so that isn't really going to work. Thanks!

No Apple service centers nearer ?

My Apple service center is about 5 miles away......they fitted a new case top for me today while i waited.....great stuff......

very good to know that they will fix this...but I hope is the same for Canada though...I just brought my MB last December too
and today..with a new annoying crack on the palm rest

Sorry to dig this but hey is def good thing to let other people that may suffer the same issue of this cracking problems

Im sorry but what's the problem with his macbook? I see an Apple logo outline on the palmrest thats all I see thats wrong
