quick question.. i got the 9C89 model of screen, presumably the worst screen out there.. :( i have been using the JC display found in this forum for about 6months, so if i change to one of the screen calibration in the thread, does that make my 9C89 model screen to be as good as 9C8C?

You just have to play around with them until you find one that YOU like, and that looks good with pictures, movies etc. Just open a picture file, a movie window and then switch around some profiles until you find one that fits your eyes best.

I don't know who says 9C89 (LG) is the "worst screen out there" but it isn't. I've seen two of them and they were both as good (or better) than the other two varieties. After calibration all were virtually indistinguishable from each other.

Generally, using a profile made for a different screen won't be very accurate nor will it look good. So get the profile for your screen and use the tests I posted in my first post in this thread.

So I have the 9C85, manufacturer 610. Is there any significant differences I need to be aware of when choosing one of the provided profiles?

Haven't gotten my hands on a 9C85 panel to profile it, so it's likely none of these will work (well) for 9C85.
