If Future Shop broke your computer take them to a small claims court… assuming they exist in where you are.

I'm not going that far... and yes, we do have small claims court in Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Your battery not being able to come out is probably due to that fact that they didn't install the L bracket correctly when they upgraded your Ram.
