Try the Supercal_9CBD_2.2 located in the batch (zip) mentioned above. Still has a slight blue push, but acceptable. I use it on my 9C9F.

I have a 9CBD screen and the out of the box colors were awful. Calibrated using spyder but while the colors are ok, the black and white have a brown tint to them (not exactly a tint, my black and white pictures look more sepia)

Using the SuperCal one as suggested above took care of all of that. But do wish I could do my own calibration :)

Glad it worked out. The person that made that profile took their time and did it right.

I am still on the hunt for a 95%-Prefect Calibration profile for the 9C9E. This display is real stubborn and seems almost impossible to calibrate correctly.

Its the purple, blue and crazy bright/saturated yellows that I have problems with.

These are several calibrations that that care of two out of three of these issues. I have yet to find one that eliminates all.

The hunt continues....

I know exactly what you mean Maven. I also have 9C9E and it is quite hard to get near-perfect calibration. (I know it's each his own but I still think most calibration shared on here still shows some shades of brown/blue)
I even tried like 4-5 calibrations myself but it is indeed very hard for me to get the brown/blue-ish shades completely out.

I've been playing around with calibration and came up with somewhat satisfactory one here.
I am attaching my icc profile for 9C9E so please give me some feedback OR hopefully someone here can make better calibration based on my icc file.
Let's make one nearly-perfect calibration for 9C9E!! :D

Looks great on my screen. I tried to calibrate myself, but it did not look as good as this one. I recommend trying it for people with 9c9e.

This profile is excellent!

Fantastic job!

Anyone have 9CAO Screen calibration profile?

I have the 9CAO screen. I have tried with several of the profiles provided in this thread but they really don't cut it for this screen. I have done the simple calibration on colorsync going to 2.2 Gamma and D65 White. Only problem is that you lose some details in darker areas of photos etc. I am not able to adequately use the expert mode. Can't eyeball it. The black on white text looks more clear with 2.2 gamma but it sacrifices detail.
Any help would be appreciated.

This one is my favorite so far. I still think it might be a little too dark, but I've been using it for the past few days and all the colors seem better than before. I still wish blues were actually blue.

Good job on this one!

I can live with the blues.. But what is up with the outrageous yellows these screens have? Its not a jab at this profile, it seems to be across the board on all profiles.

I find that with different viewing angles, you see lots of different color on the screen. If you view the screen slightly at an angle (from top/bottom or left/right), it immediately shows tint of yellow.
But if you take the notebook and look at the just right (correct angle?), the screen shows little brighter with whiter screen.(white background shows as more brighter and whiter)

So I guess it will be very hard to come up with 100% perfect color calibration with this LCD screen. :(

bump for more profiles. I can't believe I only like one of the many profiles mentioned in this thread. maybe I'm being too picky?

none the less, please post more profiles. :)

So I got my 13" MBP yesterday and what do i find when I open it? I have th 9C9E samsung screen (supposedly the worst one).

Does anyone want to talk me out of suicide? Is this the most common screen people get?
I love mine with the 9C9E screen. I even like it better than my screen on my uniMBP 15. There are a lot of great profiles on this thread for this screen:)

Here's a Huey calibration for my 9CBD. Looks great on my display! :)

Here are two profiles that I use and switch between (depending on what I'm doing) on the 9C9E screen; one has more contrast than the other, but otherwise they both seem perfect (to me at least).

Best,

Vince
